Nice airport features two runways that are in parallel, one for take off and one for landing. The airport is large enough to have all the facilities you would expect from an airport, but small enough to be friendly. It is also a very stunning with superb modern architecture.

Nice is a very lively mix of French, Italian, and Provencal cultures and has many excellent restaurants and shops and is close enough for easy travel to Cannes and Monte Carlo.
If you are feeling more energetic you could try activities such as cycling, horse riding, tennis, paragliding, sailing, water skiing or if these are to energetic for you, you could spend your time enjoying the French culture at the opera or theatre.
Nice has something for everyone and is an excellent place for a short break.
